Christian Care Kitchen

Phoenix, Arizona

The project was handled much like a JOC task order. We began with limited information and limited design draw- ings. What started as a kithcen structural renovation turned into a full kitchen remodel due to the County inspector’s requirements. The kitchen was old, outdated, and out of code compliance. We are nearing completion in the kitchen and will then be starting a second task order in the dining room. Due to the relationships we build, we are often given additional projects with our customers.

Project Goals:

The primary goal of this project was to renovate and modernize an aging kitchen facility while bringing the space into full code compliance and ensuring it met current safety, operational, and functional standards. Initially scoped as a structural kitchen renovation, the project evolved into a complete kitchen remodel following additional requirements identified by the County inspector. Working with limited existing documentation and design drawings, the team successfully adapted to changing project demands while maintaining progress and minimizing disruptions. As the kitchen renovation nears completion, the project will continue into a second phase focused on improvements to the dining room facility. This project also reflects our commitment to building strong client relationships, resulting in continued trust and opportunities to support our customers through additional task orders and facility improvement initiatives.
